Home  //  Community  //  Community Charter

This charter is designed to give you an overview of our expectations and guidelines throughout the PK community. No matter what game you play and how you play we expect all our members to be aware of this charter.

Whilst we endeavour to minimise the amount of rules we have sometimes situations within games call for additional rules. People should be mature enough to understand what can cause issues and what cannot. Guild rules may vary but will always support our community ethos.

Please do not be overwhelmed if your game contains a large number of rules. Many of these are common sense.

The following are our Community Guidelines:

TeamSpeak.

TeamSpeak is a vital community tool that we use. In a community like ours the social aspect can be best experienced by using this voice comms tool.

We appreciate that there are times when people do not use it and want to play games without being on TS. However, in almost all games we will have events that require groups of people and in those cases TeamSpeak is often a requirement to take part. So why wait and only get it when you are asked. Download now and come and join in.

Language.

Both TeamSpeak and our Forum are a great way to communicate with people. With that comes a degree of self-responsibility in what you say or what you type.

We all like a bit of “pub-like” banter and we do have fun nights winding up the Tank who fell off a cliff or the DPS who forgot to arm his weapons. However, we do not tolerate racist, sexist or homophobic behaviour in a abusive manner. Game Admins will be moderating this.

Attitude
We are a team and a community and as such everyone is expected to work together. We do not want see people who only play with PK if there is something in it for them. Try to help people out, group up with different people. In a nutshell please do not be selfish.

Tolerance.

Our community can be lively. If you hear or read something that you can take offense too please consider the context. If you wish to raise it further our Game Admin and Global Admin Team will be happy to hear your concern and deal with it accordingly.

Maturity Level.

We're a mature (in age at least) group of Adults and we only accept people of a certain maturity.

Calendar

All our events and raids are posted on our Community Calendar on the forums. If you wish to attend these events you must sign up on the calendar unless otherwise specified.
