I honestly do not know where to begin with this one. I've been looking for some way to introduce the winner of this award by Guinness World Records, as voted for by 13,519 gaming fans, which would create a comedic reveal. In this I have failed, despite trying for all of 3 minutes. The moment I announce the game that won any build up will have been rendered pointless because the utter and all consuming silence that follows is all the build up required. The punch-line being the slack jawed "eh, what?" look on the face of every true gaming fan.
So here it is, The Guinness World Record Award for Greatest Video Game Ending is (drum roll)..............
Call of Duty: Black Ops
Yeah, I know.
It is almost inconceivable that you could find just shy of 14,000 people that would consider Black Ops the Greatest anything with the exception of an internal employee poll at Activision. Even then I would expect enough to break ranks unable and unwilling to sacrifice their integrity in such a manner that Black Ops wouldn’t win.
To be fair, I did actually enjoy Black Ops as a game in its own right. Whatever failings of the actual game play and whatever your opinion on the Call of Duty franchise and its changes over recent years, Black Ops had a very well constructed story. The character was interesting, the story wove its ways through some iconic moments of very recent history and it had all of the hallmarks of a great spy film. It offered a rich vein of Cold War, East meets West espionage action that hasn’t been mined for some years as all attention has been focused on current Middle East meets West events. I will even admit that the ending was indeed very good, maybe even deserving to be in the Top 50. Certainly not first.
The credibility of the list is further drawn into doubt by the inclusion in the Top 50 of a few other titles. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2, Sonic the Hedgehog, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 & New Super Mario Brothers are a few examples.
Ultimately it would be almost impossible for a true list to be drawn up much less a winner decided on. Personal opinion, tastes and even subjectively your mood at the time of completing a game will all colour and bias your vote. However, next time Guinness please ask people who work more closely to the games industry. Ideally ask people whose job it is to play and review games. It is like asking 14,000 random people to vote for the Best Art Direction, Best Lighting or Best Soundtrack at the Oscars. You’ll get a winner but it will be pretty meaningless if the people asked don’t have the knowledge, experience or ability to qualify their vote.

With 63 votes thats a nice starting amount of players, thank you all for voting and the few telling us why you chose certain factions. With SWTOR, Rift, GW2 and other games Pandion Knights will get bigger with a wide difference of players. We have players from all over the world and i'm proud to be leading with Kaas Pandion Knights in a new game. Beta is around the corner and then launch. I'd like to thank the Global Admins for the help they have given and the trust they put into us Game Admins even though we might break stuff T_T.
Let's see how beta will run and the coming months.

Pandion Knights RIFT guild on Blightweald is currently looking for a few clerics and a rogue who's primary focus is on barding, to fill our ranks and be part of our casual raiding community.

At first we didn't pay much attention to the guild level however slowly we made it even a goal to make all three quests done in one week and even had the whole guild work for it :) (i.e. running dungeons in bulk, doing loads or rifts etc).
All this hard work has now paid off and we have reached the max level. Well done boys and girls :)

The co-operation among two separate teams was wonderful more or less. We still need a bit more co-ordination in ranged group (and yes, it's a tad harder than in melee), but if we master it, we are uber! (Okay, I may be biased here, but I don't really care).
Getting past the "separate group phase" means basically you have more or less killed the boss. I'm proud of you all :)
Next week, representatives of over 150 guilds from around the world will be coming to Austin, Texas to take part in BioWare’s inaugural Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Guild Summit. The Secret World is a new MMO from Funcom. The game is set in the modern day and incorporates pieces of ancient mythologies, real and false history and urban legends such as the Bogeyman. PK will be supporting this game in the very near future.
ArenaNet's Guild Wars 2 is our second big supported game of 2012. Set in the fantasy world of Tyria this MMORPG features a persistent world and instanced environments. The Quests system promises to be unique with iuts dynamic event system and a synergy of crafting and combat.
