ICC Progress

Another week, another try.

We have had the first 3 bosses in Icecrown Citadel on farm for the last few weeks - straight through, first attempt, no wipes - but have been getting stuck on Saurfang the Deathbringer, although getting to 5-10%.

Tonight we tried again. Welcoming back Lyselle to raiding for her first time in ICC, we cleared through the first 3 bosses with relative ease (a double group pull before Lady Deathwhisper aside) and no wipes. And here we were again facing the Orc pain.

A little change was required for some CC and experience, so Tayark swapped in for Lyselle, and off we went.

Well what do you know! First attempt and he's down, with only Wattersy dying at 8% due to the Mark of the Fallen. And not only do we get our first succesful wing clear [Storming the Citadel], we did it with achievement [I've Gone and Made a Mess].

So, off into the relative unknown of the next wing. We swapped Tayark back out for Lyselle and wearily made our way through the corridors and...WTF?! No one bothered to say about the gas pipes, and dead bodies appear across the floor.Cry

Any way, on we went fighting through the trash (ooh these are harder) until we found the 'puppies'. We chose to take Stinky and ignore Precious for now and make our way towards Festergut.

Puppy hurt lots! After a failed first attempt, we figured out what to do and left his carcass on the floor, fought the rest of the trash in the corridor and prepared for our new boss.

First go started off well and seemed quite simple, but then a quick change saw our first wipe (well, excluding the Stinky one Tongue out ). Straight back in and kicked his ass 2nd go ready for raid end.

Was a good night with some nice shineys for people and another achievement for Gordaa. Well done to all and lets make this a regular venture.

WOW Guild Heading to Bladefist

You will have probably allready picked up on this information if you have been reading the forums or on Teamspeak however lets make it a bit more public.

The Pandion Knights WOW community is heading to Bladefist.  Thats right our new home is a new server and many members have allready gone over.  If you have not yet transferred you have until about midnight tonight so please do this ASAP and feel free to ask away on the forums if you have any issues.

The Guild is setup allready as "The Pandion Knights" but I had to change my name to Pkaldor.  Damn Blizzard as I looked up who stole my name and it seems no-one.  I guess they dont want me to be called Aldor anymore.

PK WoW Stay on Al'Akir

After much discussion, our WoW guild has decided to stay on Al'Akir during the free migration period. As many guilds have taken up and moved servers, there has been some uncertainty as to whether we would also be moving, but let us make it clear that we are staying put.

Many issues were discussed before we came to this decision, but the main reason is that we put the player before the game. It was obvious that we would not be able to move every player to another server, and as we are all about the community, we were not confortable leaving people and friends behind. More information about our decision can be found on our forums.

As we have lost some people to migration, we are now recruiting. If you are interested to join us, and join a community that puts the person before the epic, go over to www.pkwow.net and make an application.

25 Man is Back on Baby

Last night we had another 25-man to TOTC and for the first time in a while we had a full PK group.  With all the ups and downs pf recent times it was great to see a full PK 25 man run going ahead once again.

Thank you to all those who attended and it was also very good to see that not one PK was online all night who did not attend.  Special thanks to Gruzom who joined for the last fight after a last min drop out.

The run went well although we did have a large DPS gap (myself included) so please can all DPS check how they got on an look for ways to improve your DPS.
