The Pandion Knights Community was formed in 2000 and is based in the UK.

The Community was formed after a small group of players wanted a shared place to meet up and arrange to play games with the same mind-set.  At the time the game in question was “Delta Force 2”, an old First Person Shooter, and the idea was to either host our own games or meet up on the same server and get to know people.

It soon became clear that many communities that were already formed were either very focussed on a single game or were very serious.  We wanted a community where people played the same games but where the person was more important that the digital Avatar you represent.

So Pandion Knights was formed to try and cater for this need.  Over time many more people joined us with the same core goals.

When MMO’s became a bigger part of the community we had another hurdle to overcome.  Whilst we wanted a relaxed casual community we also want to do some organised in game events such as instance runs and team boss kills.  This required some level of organisation and commitment from players.

So now in our MMO environment we have an almost two tiered approach.  Firstly to get in to the MMO community you just need to be a member of PK as whole.  To be part of the Raiding Team in some MMO’s you do have to make that extra effort.  That said though we firmly believe in a community first approach in all our games.

In our FPS area we understand the importance of having your own server.  PK’s site and Voice Comms runs on a dedicated box that can host any game when we want.  In addition we have low ping fast dedicated servers from Multiplay.co.uk

We understand that people have other commitments outside of the digital world.  You could have odd work patterns on perhaps the normal 9 – 5.  You may be a student and quite often have to study for exams or perhaps you have a Family and can’t be on every night.  In all cases we understand as our community is based on people just like you.

Finally it’s important to point out that our Community, whilst UK based, covers many different countries with people all over the EU joining and socialising in-game, on the forums and in TeamSpeak 3.

To Summarise we feel that we would be ideal for you if:

• You are looking for a long term friendly community to play games;
• If you are a full-time working person who does not have time to play 6 hours a day;
• If you are a Mum, Dad, Husband, Wife ..etc and just want a place to have a break;
• If you enjoy meeting new people and making friends;
• If you like to help other people and play games for the community and not the “loot”.

• Your main focus is winning and you want loot, achievements, unlocks and a very serious focussed game;
• If you play to be the best all the time;
• If you want a huge community but where no-one knows or cares about anyone else.
