The Pandion Knights Guild was setup on the Al’Akir Server straight after the launch of WOW. We had many players who had already played on the Beta and decided to call Al’Akir our home.
Recently we transferred to a new server "Bladefist"
Aggramar was also home to the Horde side of our community however over time Al’Akir and the Alliance became our main home for WOW. Our Horde Guild is still active today however it is mainly used to take a break from the daily life on Bladefist.
Throughout our history we have only ever reformed once and we kept the same name. This made Pandion Knights one of the Oldest Guilds on Al'Akir however all good things come to an end so we had to leave Al'Akir for a great new server of Bladefist
The Guild has remained around for so long because of our morals and ethos. We believe more about the player than the character you play and feel the fairness for all if the best way to play.
Many members have been around since the launch of the Guild and as the Community was set up in 2000 (Pre WOW) many members play just to be a part of the community.
If you are thinking of joining us we can offer you a home for all your games and not just WOW. We quite often jump on a Left4Dead server or go play some Poker or quite simply just chat in TeamSpeak.
Guild Audience
We started of as a UK Guild and quickly grew taking on members, who we now see as good friends, from many different countries in the EU.
The main people that seem to stay with PK for the long term are people who do not play 24/7/7. These people have full time employment, education, families or more and simply can not commit to a Guild requiring you to raid 5 nights a week for 5 hours.
We try to build on a community of people who are willing to help out and put some effort in to the community.
We have some excellent raiders and people who play quite a lot and we also have people who simply farm mats ..etc for our guild. In fact our Social member status is just for people who can not commit to our raiding schedule yet still want a chance.
If you want to make friends, have fun, raid and relax then this is the Guild for you.
Want uber epix and high pew pew with new Instance cleared in weeks then I am afraid you will be disappointed.
Raiding and Progression
With our ethos above comes our Raiding style and schedule.
As mentioned we do not raid 5 nights a week for 5 hours however we do have a raiding schedule.
We raid for 3 nights a week (Weds, Thurs and Fri) from 19:45 to 23:30 Game Time.
The above means we do not progress as fast as Raid Focussed guilds but we do get there in our own time. We have fun whilst raiding.
Whilst on our raids we do ask people focus, do their best and listen to the Raid Leader. We all appreciate some humour and fun but if you constantly jerk around in a raid you will be kicked.
Raiding to us is secondary to meeting new people and friends. It’s a great feeling to get a boss down for the first time with all your friends rather than a bunch of people you care nothing for.
