Welcome to the PK Raiding Rules section.
As an end game raiding Guild we have to have some rules around how we raid. WOW has changed and allows many more guild the freedom to Raid without having the pressure of certain classes or Buffs ..etc. However we appreciate that Raiding still takes skill and patience.
To do the end game stuff we all want to do we have to have some set guidelines to ensure we achieve our goals.
Our Rules are broken down in to sections. Simply click on the "Tab" for more information:
Sign Up Rules
- To attend a run you must sign up on the calendar at www.pkwow.net;
- To sign up you must have created your character within your account;
- You can only sign up as your main unless the raid states its an alt run;
- 30 Mins before the official raid start time the Raid Leaders (RL) get together and approve people for the raid;
- RL's will also decide who will be the RL for that night and if the run is still going ahead;
- Raids are NOT strictly done on 1st come 1st served basis.
- Check www.pkwow.net to see if you are approved at invite time;
- You may use the Late option to advise you will be late. Raid Leader may choose to wait for you or replace you. If you are using this option state how late you will be. If you state 10 mins late and arrive 30 mins later don’t be surprised if you lost your spot.
- If you sign and are not immediately picked stick around until after start for no shows.
On the Night
- 15mins before raid start you must be at the designated meeting point at invite time;
- 15mins before raid start you must be out of any groups;
- You must be fully prepared with Flasks, Repairs and Food Buffs;
- Whilst raiding DO NOT go AFK for prolonged periods. Nip to the loo and get a beer sure but not a 30 minute lunch break.
- Designated 5 - 10 min breaks will be announced during the raid;
- You must have all Mandatory Add Ons; These may change from time to time so ask ingame for an up to date list.
- Items that force people/NPC’s to do things are banned (Train Track ..ect);
- Items that change the state of people/NPC’s are not allowed (Baby Spice ..etc).
Other Rules
No Shows
If you are approved for a Raid and do not show then you will likely annoy the raid leader, try not to make a habbit of it.
Trial Members
Your spot in the guild is yours to lose. Be social, be active, follow raid commands, learn tactics, come to raids prepared and try not to act like a tard. Manage this and you will gain a spot in our guild.
Raid Attendance
Whilst we don't have a minimum raid attendance we do expect our raiders to raid most of the time. If we put a shout out for more raiders then we do expect our raiders to step forward and fill the empty spaces quickly. We understand that not everyone wants to raid all the time so we will not hold it against anyone if they don't want to raid. However, your raiding rank will remain only so long as the admin team feels you've done or are doing enough to keep it.
Stuck in a que?
Finally if you are in the que to get in game then come in TS and tell us. If you do not you WILL be classed as a no show if not ontime.
Breaking any of the above rules may result in demotion, removal from the guild or an admin poking you in the eye with a stick.
